If Cobra Kai Never Dies, What’s Next For The MiyagiVerse?

After a strong final run, Cobra Kai fans are all asking themselves, what’s next? Memes have already sprung up about an “Iron Dragon” spin-off sequel 30 years from now, but will MiyagiVerse fans really have to wait decades for new material?

There have been a handful of interviews to Screen Rant, Collider, Hollywood Reporter and Entertainment Weekly where the Creators have talked about possible MiyagiVerse spin-offs.  A prequel set 80+ years in the past has been alluded to which would most likely feature Mister Miyagi. A “contemporary” series that may or may not feature The Binary Brothers has also been teased but no concrete information beyond that.

Some people have also wondered if a “Back To The Future” sequel/reboot is in the cards based off the end credit scene in the Cobra Kai finale but the creators have dismissed that as just having some fun. We feel the Creators may have been fishing in that moment to see what type of response they get from fans as well as the major creative pages and we are all for a reboot with the Marty and Doc… plus maybe Einstein Junior?

IF Cobra Kai does launch some Spin-Offs, we feel that there will be a sizable break of at least 2-3 years as is has been confirmed that the Karate Kid Legends movie takes place 3 years after the events of Cobra Kai. The three man team from New Jersey who created Cobra Kai have shown they want to develop other material plus a Harold and Kumar reboot is probably going to have to happen before they go back to the franchise that claims to Never Die.

Who should get a spin-off? Miguel, Tory, Axel, Zara, or OUR favorite duo,
Bert & Nate?
