Marvel fans may be grasping at straws but longtime She-Hulk fans believe the the character will appear in the next Avengers film and that she will have a sizable role. There was some concept art leaked earlier this year with She-Hulk next to Hulk in kind of a Hulk village, but those images were since declared to be fakes by the Russos, so no official indication that She-Hulk will be punching her way into the Avengers cast just yet.
The rumors about Maslany first started weeks ago when she cancelled an appearance at Comic Liverpool during the shooting schedule for the fifth Avengers movie. What kept these rumors alive was the news outlet ComicBookMovie, who claimed that they did some digging and got information form an insider who said Maslany will play a “fairly significant” role in the highly anticipated film.

Sometime after that, a second news outlet called ThatParkPlace, who also claimed to have a connection to an insider who also confirmed that She-Hulk will appear in ‘Doomsday’. The news outlet would later to go on to claim that Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Chris Pratt’s Saw-Lord would also be appearing in the film. despite being left out of Marvel Studios massive name dropping teaser video. Are these news outlets risking trashing their reputation for this news? That doesn’t seem likely, but the veracity of their sources are up for debate. We believe there is a high likelihood these rumors are in fact true, unless fan reaction alters the course of things – which is not likely.
So if we are going to see the MCU’s She-Hulk again on the big screen, how will Marvel Studios make her more appealing to longtime Marvel fans who famously hated her series? We think her chemistry with Mark Ruffalo will be key and we do have hopes that She-Hulk and Deadpool meet, just to have a 4th wall break-off.

There have been cryptic message from Marvel about casting, but since their big announcement, there has been little additional news. The release of “Thunderbolts” next month should put the MCU back in the spotllight in a good way (hopefully) and it’s possible that in between that movie and the Fantastic 4 reboot, we will get some other juicy tidbits. There are always chances of spoilers from set, but we have a feeling Marvel will be extremely careful with potential spoilers, whether they be pics, videos or second hand information.

What do you think? Will She-Hulk redeem herself in the eyes of MCU die-hards? Will RDJ break the 4th wall with her? Is she going to help bring about World War Hulk?
